The Enabler vessels have been recognised as leaders in the RoRo 1A Super category for the second year in a row, achieving the lowest CO₂ emissions per tonne per nautical mile among 23 other vessels, as detailed in the latest EMSA MRV report.
The MRV system is a vital component of the EU's initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from shipping, requiring all large vessels over 5,000 gross tonnage to accurately monitor and report their CO₂ emissions.
Botnia Enabler and Baltic Enabler are also listed among the verified top-performing vessels, holding a CSI 5 rating in the Clean Shipping Index. This rating is the highest achievable and is based on several key environmental parameters, including SOx, NOx, CO₂ emissions, chemicals, water and waste management, and particulate matter.
